Altivo One LLC (“Altivo,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, retain, and protect information when you use Altivo’s mobile applications, websites, products, services, and related features.

This Privacy Policy applies to the initial United States release of Altivo.

By using Altivo, you acknowledge the practices described in this Privacy Policy.

1. Information We Collect

We may collect the following categories of information.

Account Information

When you create or manage an Altivo account, we may collect:

  • Email address
  • Password-related authentication information
  • Desired profile name
  • Profile photo
  • Account settings and preferences

Passwords are handled through our authentication provider and are not intended to be stored by Altivo in readable form.

Altivo currently supports email-and-password authentication. Additional authentication methods, including Sign in with Apple and Google Sign-In, may be added in the future.

Professional and Business Information

Depending on the features you use, Altivo may collect information you enter about your professional activity, including:

  • Services
  • Service prices
  • Income
  • Tips
  • Payment methods
  • Walk-in or appointment activity
  • Referrals
  • Business goals
  • Progress toward goals
  • Performance metrics
  • Business-related preferences and settings

Client Information

Altivo allows professionals to maintain information about their own clients.

This may include:

  • First name
  • Last name
  • Phone number
  • Email address
  • Notes or business-related client information

Future versions of Altivo may also allow users to store client photographs.

You are responsible for ensuring that you have the appropriate permission or legal basis to enter, upload, store, or otherwise process information relating to your clients.

Photos and Uploaded Content

Altivo currently may allow users to upload profile photographs.

Future versions may allow additional image uploads, including:

  • Client photographs
  • Receipt or expense images
  • Other business-related images

If these features are introduced, this Privacy Policy may be updated to reflect the associated data practices.

Communications

We may collect information when you communicate with us, including through:

  • Support requests
  • Feedback
  • Beta testing communications
  • Account deletion requests
  • Other inquiries

We also send transactional communications related to account operation, including:

  • Account verification emails
  • Password reset emails
  • Security or account-related notices

Push Notifications

Altivo may send push notifications relating to app activity, reminders, goals, account activity, or other product features.

You can control push notification permissions through your device settings where applicable.

Marketing Communications

In the future, Altivo may offer users the opportunity to opt in to marketing emails or text messages.

Marketing communications will be sent only as permitted by applicable law and according to the preferences or consent provided by the user.

Users will be provided with methods to opt out of applicable marketing communications.

Usage, Analytics, and Diagnostic Information

Altivo intends to use analytics and diagnostic tools to understand product usage, improve features, troubleshoot errors, and measure product performance.

These tools may collect information such as:

  • App interactions
  • Feature usage
  • Device or operating-system information
  • Crash data
  • Diagnostic information
  • General usage patterns

The specific analytics or crash-reporting providers have not yet been finalized.

Before introducing a new analytics provider, Altivo will review the associated privacy practices and update this Privacy Policy when appropriate.

Location Information

The initial version of Altivo does not intentionally collect precise or approximate geolocation information as a core app feature.

Future Altivo ecosystem products, including features associated with Altivo Waitlist or Altivo Connect, may use location information to support nearby-business discovery, service availability, matching, or related functionality.

If location-based functionality is introduced, we will provide appropriate disclosures and permissions before collecting location information.

2. How We Use Information

We may use information to:

  • Create and maintain user accounts
  • Authenticate users
  • Provide Altivo features and services
  • Track business information entered by users
  • Display business metrics, goals, progress, and insights
  • Store and organize client information
  • Send account verification and password reset messages
  • Send push notifications
  • Provide customer support
  • Process account deletion requests
  • Maintain security and prevent abuse
  • Diagnose errors and improve application performance
  • Develop and improve Altivo products
  • Communicate product or policy changes
  • Provide marketing communications where permitted
  • Meet legal, regulatory, or contractual obligations

3. Artificial Intelligence Features

The current version of Altivo does not send user or business information to OpenAI for Altivo Coach functionality.

A future version of Altivo Coach may use artificial intelligence services, including services provided through OpenAI APIs or other providers.

Before such functionality is introduced, Altivo will evaluate the data involved and update its disclosures as appropriate.

Users should not assume that current Altivo Coach functionality sends their business information to OpenAI.

4. Third-Party Services and Integrations

Altivo may rely on third-party service providers to operate portions of the service.

These may include providers for:

  • Authentication
  • Database and backend hosting
  • Email delivery
  • Push notifications
  • Analytics
  • Crash reporting
  • Cloud infrastructure
  • Subscription processing
  • Third-party business or booking integrations

Altivo currently uses Supabase for certain backend, authentication, and database functionality.

Future versions may integrate with third-party scheduling, booking, payment, or business-management platforms.

We may share information with service providers only as reasonably necessary for them to provide services to Altivo or as otherwise described in this Privacy Policy.

5. Apple and Google Services

If you obtain Altivo through the Apple App Store or Google Play, Apple or Google may collect and process information relating to your download, subscription, device, account, or payment activity under their own privacy policies.

Altivo does not receive your full payment-card information from Apple or Google for subscriptions processed through those platforms.

6. Subscriptions and Payments

Paid Altivo subscriptions are intended to be processed through the Apple App Store or Google Play.

Altivo may receive information related to subscription status, entitlement, purchase status, or transaction verification as necessary to provide paid features.

Payment processing by Apple or Google is governed by their applicable terms and privacy practices.

7. How We Share Information

We may disclose information:

  • To service providers that help operate Altivo
  • To Apple or Google where necessary for platform or subscription functionality
  • To third-party integrations that you choose to connect to Altivo
  • To comply with applicable law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request
  • To protect the rights, property, safety, or security of Altivo, our users, or others
  • In connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, restructuring, or sale of business assets, subject to applicable law

8. No Sale of Personal Information

Altivo does not sell personal information.

Altivo does not share personal information for targeted advertising or cross-context behavioral advertising.

We do not intend to monetize user or client information by selling it to advertisers or data brokers.

9. Client Information Entered by Professionals

Altivo users may enter information belonging to their own clients.

The professional using Altivo is responsible for determining whether they have the appropriate authority, permission, or lawful basis to collect and store that information.

Altivo processes that information for the purpose of providing the requested service to the Altivo user.

Users should not enter client information they are not authorized to possess or process.

10. Data Retention

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to:

  • Provide Altivo services
  • Maintain user accounts
  • Fulfill the purposes described in this Privacy Policy
  • Protect the security and integrity of the service
  • Resolve disputes
  • Enforce agreements
  • Meet legal, tax, accounting, fraud-prevention, or regulatory obligations

Retention periods may vary depending on the type of information and the reason it is maintained.

When an account is deleted, Altivo will delete or de-identify eligible account-associated information, subject to information that must or may be retained for legitimate legal, security, accounting, fraud-prevention, dispute-resolution, or regulatory purposes.

11. Account Deletion

Users may request deletion of their Altivo account.

Users who have access to the Altivo application may use the account deletion functionality provided within the application.

Users may also submit a deletion request through:

Altivo may verify account ownership before completing an external deletion request.

Account deletion is separate from cancellation of an Apple App Store or Google Play subscription.

Deleting an Altivo account may not automatically stop recurring charges from Apple or Google. Users with an active paid subscription should separately manage or cancel that subscription through the applicable platform.

12. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect information from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction.

No information system or method of transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their account credentials.

13. Your Choices

Depending on the feature and applicable law, you may be able to:

  • Update account information
  • Change app preferences
  • Disable push notifications through device settings
  • Opt out of marketing communications
  • Request account deletion
  • Contact Altivo regarding privacy questions

Additional privacy rights may apply depending on applicable law.

14. Children and Age Eligibility

Altivo is intended only for individuals who are at least 18 years old.

Altivo does not permit users under the age of 18 to create accounts or use the service.

Altivo is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

If we learn that information has been collected from an ineligible minor, we may take steps to delete the information and terminate the account.

15. U.S. Availability

The initial Altivo release is intended for users in the United States.

If Altivo expands into other countries or regions, additional privacy disclosures or rights may apply.

16. Business Transfers

If Altivo One LLC is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, restructuring, bankruptcy, sale of assets, or similar transaction, information may be transferred as part of that transaction where permitted by law.

17. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as Altivo evolves.

If we make material changes, we may provide notice through the app, website, email, or another appropriate method.

The Effective Date at the top of this Privacy Policy indicates when this version became effective.

Continued use of Altivo after an updated policy becomes effective is subject to applicable law.
